Eric Smith

VP Sales

Eric Smith joins TerraCycle with over 14 years of solid sales, marketing and leadership experience with companies such as Procter and Gamble, SC Johnson Wax, and Philips Lighting. He has held Director Level sales positions and has led teams responsible for over $500 Million in annual sales. Eric has a solid background in sales, category management, marketing, logistics and team leadership. He has worked with all major customers including Wal*Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, K-Mart, as well as most major food retailers.

Eric also brings international sales experience to the team. Eric has served as Global Category Management Director at SC Johnson. This experience allowed him to work with global retailers including Wal*Mart International, Carrefour, Delhaize, Ahold, Auchon and others.

Over his career, Eric has launched a number of new products to the marketplace. He held a leadership role in bringing SC Johnson Commercial Line products to the Do-It-Yourself class of trade. This was an entirely new set of products designed against this class of trade. Eric played a role in the design of the product portfolio as well as the go-to-market strategy. The Commercial Line strategy allowed SC Johnson to break new ground with DIY customers and establish a sustainable business proposition in this class of trade.
