Alysia Welch-Chester
Special Projects Manager
Alysia Welch-Chester joins TerraCycle after working in corporate America for the wireless telecommunications industry, in organized labor and in the non-profit sector. Alysia studied communications at the State University of New York at Geneseo.
In addition to being a two-term elected Trenton/Mercer County Committee-person, Alysia holds a number of leadership positions in her community including serving as President of the Trenton Council of Civic Associations, Secretary of the Trenton Area National Organization of Women and Former 2nd Vice-President of the Trenton NAACP. Alysia is also serves on a number of boards including Passage Theatre as board Secretary, William Trenton House Association, Planned Parenthood of the Mercer Area, Trenton Film Society while continuing to maintain active memberships in the Junior League of Greater Princeton and the Trenton/Mercer Chapter of the National Congress of Black Women.
Alysia is a Leadership Trenton graduate and was recognized in 2005 with The Trentonian's "20 under 40" Award, "20 people who are under the age of 40 for making a difference within the community."
A self proclaimed gadget geek, Alysia enjoys golfing, playing tennis, biking, rollerblading and just good ol' playing outdoors.
Alysia currently resides in Trenton with her husband.
