If
you have kids, chances are you buy drink pouches, such as Capri Sun,
Honest Kids, and Kool Aid. Gwen and I are collecting used drink pouches
to be recycled into fashion bags, tote bags, and pencil cases for kids
and adults.
Here's how it works:
1. Save your used drink pouches (not boxes), but toss the straw please. Collecting them in a plastic bag is fine (then you can hang it in the garage or someplace where they won't attract ants/bugs).
2. I will get the drink pouch collection from you whenever you've reached your collection limit.
3. I send the pouches to TerraCycle.
4. TerraCycle recycles them into bags, totes, etc.
5. TerraCycle donates $.02 cents per Capri Sun, Kool Aid and Honest Kids drink pouches and $.01 per other drink pouches collected to charity.
We greatly appreciate your help in recycling and earning money for charity. Want to help even more? Ask friends to collect their drink pouches too!

What a great idea. I have one of these totes and they are really neat. I get comments all the time from it.
