SEE NEXT POST FOR COVER!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW YORK, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Newsweek, Target and
TerraCycle, an eco-capitalism company, have teamed up in an innovative
project using the magazine cover as an envelope to mail in plastic Target
shopping bags which will then be turned into the store's unique Retote bag.
After the bags are mailed in, readers will receive a coupon in the mail to
receive a free Retote.

"This is a one-of-a-kind promotion that lets everyone who gets the
magazine take part in an environmental program," said Newsweek President
Greg Osberg. "It's a clever use of the magazine and clever use by a
marketer. Readers and Target shoppers will recycle their shopping bags and,
in return, get a practical bag that can be used all the time."

The program is for the magazine's April 14 issue "Environment &
Leadership: Who's the Greenest of Them All?" (on newsstands Monday, April
7.) This is the second annual issue about environmental leadership. This
year, Newsweek looks at the presidential candidates and examines their
stands on environmental policies. A conference tied to the issue will be
held on Tuesday, April 8, at Georgetown University.

"Target is committed to identifying innovative opportunities to promote
the social, environmental and economic well-being of the communities where
we do business," said Target spokesperson Amy von Walter. "We're excited to
partner with TerraCycle and Newsweek."

"We're very excited to be responsible for helping Newsweek reinvent the
idea of magazine advertising as well as Target reinvent how we use plastic
bags," said Tom Skazy founder and CEO of TerraCycle, a company that
produces eco-friendly affordable products from waste.

Oh I can't wait to do this! I'm getting a Target gift card in the mail in the next few days (from a credit card points deal) so I will defintely be going to Target, and then mailing my bags in!

What a great idea!
