The leash is made of proprietary polyurethane that stretches when the dog pulls, causing the shock of the pulling dog away from the walker’s hands and upper body. The company said it also takes the shock away from the dog’s neck and shoulders.

The company said that the material is resistant to UV rays, ozone, cold, heat and most household chemicals.

The Perfect Leash comes in two sizes: the Heeler and the Walker. The Heeler is of shorter length and is made for the training and heeling of medium- to larger-sized dogs. The Walker is made for smaller dogs, but also can be used on larger dogs.

The handle is a comfortable grip made with the same material as the leash.

TerraCycle Bird Feeder



Just in time for winter feeding, this eco-friendly plant food and fertilizer company called TerraCycle has come out with a new eco-friendly bird feeder.

The TerraCycle Bird Feeder is the world’s first bird feeder to be packaged in a re-used soda bottle, according to Mike Avale of Terracycle Inc.

It comes already prepped for feeding and is filled with high-quality birdseed.

The company boasted that this bird feeder is perfect for individuals or families who have never tried their hand at taking care of a bird before. I feed the wild birds with about four feeders all year long.

I found this product easy to hang and a really great idea. It requires no mounting, nails or screws and you can just find a branch and hang it.

I think it would be a great start for young children in getting them interested in bird watching.

As I twisted off the cap, I knew it was a reused soda bottle for sure. The cap was yellow and had a code on the inside that was a contest Pepsi ran from the summer. The feeder actually is 98 percent recycled or reused material.
