Who Can Participate?
The Erase your E-Waste contest is open to schools that are currently enrolled and active in the Keyboard and Mouse Brigade. Every shipment received by TerraCycle through the Keyboard and Mouse Brigade enters your school in the Erase your Waste collection contest. To participate in the contest a qualifying shipment* must be received between 12:00am EST on the first day of the month and 11:59pm EST on the last day of the month. All eligible participating locations are subject to the Erase your E-Waste Contest Rules.

When Is The Erase your E-Waste Contest?
The Erase your E-Waste contest will begin on November 1st, 2011 at 9:00am EST and end on March 31st, 2012 at 6:00pm EST. Each collection shipment delivered to and checked in at TerraCycle’s facilities each month during the collection period will enter the shipping location in the monthly collection contest. The winners will be announced on or before the 15th of the following month. TerraCycle will update all Keyboard and Mouse Brigade participants with the total waste units received against our goal each month. We will announce the total amount of waste collected through the Keyboard and Mouse Brigade by Earth Day, April 22nd 2012.
How Does a Location Win the Erase your E-Waste Monthly Collection Contest?
TerraCycle will determine the winners based on the total number of total units collected within the timeframe described above. Units collected are determined by the average unit weight listed on the Keyboard and Mouse Brigade’s FAQ. A single winner will be declared as the highest collector each individual month. The goal of the Erase your E-Waste contest is to collect 2,500 units of e-waste or more by the end of the 5 month collection period. The collection locations that contribute to this goal will also receive 25% coupons for Logitech products.
What Are The Prizes?
Every month, the winning location will receive up to 30 new Logitech key boards and mice for their computer lab, an estimated value of $1,000. As a grand prize, all of the eligible Brigade participants that contribute to collecting 2,500 units of e-waste or more by the end of the collection period (March 31st) will receive a 25% coupon for Logitech products.
