When you look at garbage, instead of seeing waste, do you see tote bags, lamps, chairs, and more? If you answered "YES!" then the TerraCycle design department is where you belong!
We're looking for energetic designers with a passion for all things green.
Product/Accessories Design Intern
Responsibilities will include making prototypes, creating digital mock ups, brainstorming new products, researching existing products and photo-documenting product prototypes.
Ideal candidates would:
- Have a design background
- Have a basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Be enthusiastic about recycling and sustainability
- Sewing and Autocad skills are a plus
- Must have experience sewing, preferably with leather-type goods
- Able to create and adjust patterns and from existing styles or willing to learn
- Must be extremely handy with crafting, cutting, recreating and manipulating samples

- The Design Team internships are unpaid and are based in Trenton, NJ
- The internship program requires a minimum commitment of 6 weeks.
- The program will cover your lunch expenses and select work related expenses as needed
