Chemistry Laboratory Technician
This person is responsible in assisting the Vice-President of Chemistry in sample preparation for new and existing products including consumer fertilizers and other consumer items (e.g., cleaners). This position can be arranged as a co-op for course credit.
Duties
- Assisting in formulating and testing new products
- Recording analytical measurements using established methodology
- Developing new analytical procedures for product testing
- Designing new analytical spreadsheets
- Enhancing and populating existing analytical spreadsheets
Skills
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- General computer knowledge with a proficiency in Excel
- Organized and detailed-oriented
- Enjoys working independently in an unstructured environment
Pay Type: Cash stipend of $100. U. S. dollars per week.
Hours per Week: 40
