false Every year millions of non-recyclable bags and wrappers end up in landfills. TerraCycle and Bear Naked are committed to finding new uses for old bags and wrappers. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle will develop unique new products made from used bags and wrappers and upcycle them into shower curtains, tote bags and so much more. Once your request to join the Bear Naked Brigade has been processed, TerraCycle will ship four postage–paid return envelopes to your address. When you have filled a collection bag with at least 75 bags and wrappers, simply return it by dropping the bag off at a UPS drop–off location. Thanks to the generous support of Bear Naked, $.02 will be donated to the non–profit organization or school of your choice for each approved bag or wrapper. If you do not have an organization or school in mind, you can choose from our list! Participating in a TerraCycle Brigade is totally free! What kinds of bags and wrappers are acceptable? Any Bear Naked Bag or wrapper is acceptable. Who can sign up for the Bear Naked Brigade? Participation in the Bear Naked Brigade is open to anyone who wants to join our recycling efforts! There are some practical considerations you and your organization should keep in mind. For example, our programs are not designed to accommodate recycling centers. Also, all donations must go to a nonprofit organization or school. What information do I need to sign up for the Bear Naked Brigade? Signing up for the Bear Naked Brigade is easy! Please keep in mind if you are a student, you must be atleast 13 years or older to sign up. If you do not meet the age requirements, please have a teacher or parent associated with your school sign up for the brigade. You will also need a 501(c)3 charity (including that organization's tax ID) to donate to. If you would like to choose from our list of nonprofit organizations, you do not need this information. You will also need a valid email and physical mailing address. How long does it take to get collection materials? There are currently two options: to receive collection materials: Option 1: 1. Sign into your account - select - get shipping labels and print the pre-paid labels out right off from your computer printer! You can also print off promotional materials under the "Grow" Tab* Option 2: 2.After you sign up online and then respond to the confirmation email sent to you, it will take 3 weeks to process your information and send your first set of collection materials. Materials are shipped from our New Jersey headquarters, so shipping times may vary. If you have not received your materials by the end of the fourth week, send an email to customersupport@terracycle.net. I signed up for the Bear Naked Brigade, but haven't received a confirmation email. What do I do? Please check to see if the confirmation e-mail from info@terracycle.net was sent to your brigade leader’s spam or junk mail. Please email customersupport@terracycle.net with subject line: “No Confirmation E-mail” along with your phone number or call 1-866-967-6766. Do I have to pay for shipping? NOPE! The labels you can download are pre-paid return labels and will not cost you a single penny! The same goes for requested pre-paid return labels in the mail. This is possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Bear Naked. How do I check my account? You can check your shipment and donation status through your account. Simply sign in at www.terracycle.net and click "My Account" to view what you have TerraCycled! How many bags and wrappers should I sent to TerraCycle? If you are downloading labels through our account - please affix to a reused box (make sure the reused box is filled with wrappers and bags) If you are sending wrappers and bags in mailers, please fill the mailers with atleast 75 pieces of waste per bag. How much is each bag and wrapper worth? For each bag or wrapper received, $.02 will be donated to the designated nonprofit organization or school. How often are donations made? We make donations to nonprofit organizations and schools twice a year - in June and December.
