Stonyfield® , the organic food leader and environmental pioneer, is partnering with TerraCycle in a program aimed at collecting used yogurt containers and upcycling the materials into new products which are sold at many major retailers. Every time you enjoy Stonyfield yogurt, we want you to save the container and send it in so we can upcycle the waste material into fun and innovative products. For each approved yogurt container received, $0.03 will be paid to the non–profit organization or school of your choice. If you don’t have an organization in mind, you can choose from our list! All yogurt containers must nest (stack neatly) to be sent in through this program. Once you sign up for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade online you can print out pre-paid labels and start collecting all sizes of yogurt cups that nest. There are no signup fees whatsoever.</p?

Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade FAQs SIGN UP What kinds of packaging are acceptable? We are collecting any size of yogurt container that nests (stacks neatly). Please make sure the yogurt cups you send are nested, as we will be unable to process the shipment if they are not (we will divert the waste from going to a landfill, but will not be able to credit your account). Please note that while we will accept any size nest-able yogurt cup, we are unable to accept non-yogurt cups - we will not be able to accept cream cheese or margarine containers even if they are the same size or style as a yogurt cup. Who can sign up for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade? We welcome anyone from a family to a school or an organization to join in on our efforts to save yogurt containers from landfill. How do I sign up for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade? Signing up for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade Program is easy! First, check to make sure the Brigade is not currently full. If the Brigade is full you will be unable to sign up, but please check the website for other open Brigades that you’d like to join. If there are empty spaces in the Brigade, you will need to provide: <ul> <li>a contact person to administer the Yogurt Brigade</li> <li>a valid email address to receive an email confirmation and other materials</li> <li>a 501(c)3 charity (and its Federal Tax ID # - formatted as xx-xxxxxxx – numbers only)</li> </ul> If you do not have a charity you already plan to support, you can select our default charity, which automatically appears as the listed charity at signup. I signed up for the program, but I haven’t received a confirmation e-mail. What should I do? Please check to see if your confirmation e-mail from customersupport@terracycle.net was sent to your spam or junk mail, BUT DO NOT SIGN UP AGAIN. Check to determine if there are available spots for the desired program. If there are no spots open you will be unable to sign up. Check back often as there are often new Brigades and some programs will expand. If there are available spots for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade but you were unable to sign up, please email customersupport@terracycle.net with subject line: No Confirmation E-mail, along with your phone number. Someone will contact you and help you to sign up. Can my school or organization sign up more than once? No. Each individual or organization, including schools, can only have one Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade account. Any additional accounts will be suspended. However, multiple brigades can operate at, and benefit, a single school. If you have any questions please contact customersupport@terracycle.net for clarification. What if my information changes or needs to be updated? If for any reason you need to change or update your information, please select the “collect” tab (located on your profile) and then simply click “Edit this team”. If you still need assistance or have questions please contact Customer Support at 1-866–967–6766 option 1 or email customersupport@terracycle.net and someone will be glad to assist you. SHIPPING Do I have to pay for shipping? Nope! You will be able to print UPS shipping labels from our web site to enable you to ship your envelopes for free, or you can receive labels and bags from us if you select this option on your profile. You can either use the bag/box we send you, or you can use your own brown box for mailings. This will bring your Yogurt Brigade collections back to our factory to be upcycled into TerraCycle eco-chic products! You win, we win, and the environment wins! How do I ship the packaging back to you? If you already have a box or bag, you can download your own pre-paid UPS return label by clicking the “Get Mailing Labels” icon and select Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade under the drop down menu on our web site. You can also have us ship you some labels and bags/boxes by clicking “Send Me Mailing Labels.” Then select “Print My Label Now” and a label will automatically print out from your printer. Simply affix the label to your box or bag and drop it off at any UPS location. Is there a limit to how many pieces of packaging I can send in? As of right now, there is no limit to the amount of packaging you can send in. We ask that you fill up the bags or boxes before sending them in. If you send packages in a slow, steady stream, you are doing well. I checked my status. Why is it incorrect? Please check back frequently to see your status update. If there is a serious problem with collections/donations status please call Brigade Services at (609) 393-4252 ext. 302 or e-mail customersupport@terracycle.net. We are done collecting for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade, can we unsubscribe? Please send back any labels, boxes, or bags and contact our customer service department to unsubscribe. PAYMENT How much will my organization be paid for yogurt containers? Each yogurt cup your location sends in will earn the non-profit of your choice $0.03. Yogurt cups will be counted based on weight using .03 lb as the average weight of one container. Is there a minimum/maximum amount of packaging to collect before my school or charity will receive a check? You can collect as much packaging as you like and we will submit checks in June and December for any amount over $5. If you have a donation of less than $5 in December, we will not cut a check at that time. If you are still under $5 in June, we will send your non-profit whatever your payment is at that time. I've sent collections in to benefit a charity. Why didn’t I receive a check? Charity checks are mailed DIRECTLY to the designated charity, not to the individual contact. Charities will receive a check in June for collections received between November 1st - April 30th. Charities will receive a check in December for collections received between May 1st-October 31st. I did not select or specify my charity during sign up. Can I still select one? If you did not select a charity, or enter your own charity information, your account was signed up for our default charity. If you would like to change this in order to select your charity of choice, please call 1-866-967-6766 or email customersupport@terracycle.net with the charity name, address, contact person and Tax ID #. You can also select the charity through the TerraCycle website for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade. Please note that changes to the charity will take effect for all items mailed in AFTER the change is registered. For packaging you have sent in that may not yet have been credited, the previous (default) charity will be the beneficiary. Can I switch my charity? Yes. Please call 1-866-967-6766 or email customersupport@terracycle.net with the charity name, address, contact person and Tax ID #. Additionally, you can switch your charity through the TerraCycle website for the Stonyfield Yogurt Brigade. The new charity will only be credited with packaging that you send in AFTER that point. Any funds earned for collected waste will be sent to the charity listed on your account on the last day of the check period (the two check periods end on April 30th and October 31st. Any changes to your charity selection must be made before these dates to receive credit).
