Every year BILLIONS of drink pouches end up in dumpsters and landfills across America. TerraCycle, Capri Sun and Honest Kids are working together to put an end to this awful loss of resources. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the drink pouch material into unique fashion bags, tote bags, pencil cases, and other items for kids and adults! TerraCycle is proud to team up with the largest producer of drink pouches in the country, Capri Sun, and a young organic entry into the market, Honest Kids, to help address this problem! Together with your help we CAN make a difference!

Once you have signed up for the Drink Pouch Brigade, you can start collecting drink pouches! When you are ready to ship them, log into your account and chose whether you would like to download prepaid shipping labels (the eco-friendly option) or have TerraCycle mail you 2 prepaid return labels.

The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigade™ program allows almost any school, non–profit organization or individual to save drink pouches from taking up space in landfills. TerraCycle will pay $0.02 per drink pouch to the charity, school or non-profit organization of your choice.

Please Note: As of July 30th, 2010, the minimum number of pouches per single shipment must be atleast 500.

ATTENTION ALL DRINK POUCH BRIGADES

IMPORTANT: SHIPPING POLICY CHANGE

As of July 30th, 2010, the minimum number of pouches you may send to TerraCycle in a single shipment will be 500 pouches per shipment.

Over the past 3 years, the Drink Pouch Brigade has seen exceptional growth. We are currently collecting on average 1.5 million drink pouches per week! Congratulations to each of you, and thanks for your hard and consistent efforts.

The success of this eco-focused collection program has caused us to look carefully at its environmental impact. One shipment of 1,000 pouches to TerraCycle is about 90% more eco-friendly (in terms of energy use and carbon impact) than 10 smaller shipments of 100 pouches.

So, as of July 30th, TerraCycle requests that you only send us shipments containing a minimum of 500 pouches. If you ship us packages with fewer than 500 pouches, we won't credit those pouches to the account of your designated charity, we will process them into new materials and products. Whenever possible, please send us even larger (and less frequent) shipments. It's another way we can all do our part in making this program a big win for the environment.
